Sending the newsletter through Hubspot

  1. Once you’ve logged into Hubspot, go to Marketing > Email.
  2. In the top right, click on Create email.
  3. Choose Regular.
  4. This will bring you to a page of templates. Click on the newsletter that corresponds with the date you are creating it for.
  5. At the top where it says New email, change the name of the email to SW Newsletter – Month & Year. For example, SW Newsletter – April 2024.
  6. Edit the newsletter as needed.
  7. Click on the Settings tab across the top.
    1. Change the from name to School Webmasters and the from email address to be noreply@schoolwebmasters.com.
    2. Add a subject line. Something like Quarterly News from School Webmasters.
    3. Subscription type can be Employees
  8. Click on the Send or Schedule tab
    1. Sent to: School Webmasters Employees
    2. Sending options: If you are ready, you can send it now, or you can schedule it to go out later.
  9. In the top right, you can send a test email so you can view it before you send it out. Once you are ready, hit Review and Send. If you are not quite ready, you can save your work in the top left and then exit.
